Introduction
The Balkans EFL Journal has been established by the Time Taylor Organization as part of the world wide Asian EFL Journal group. Dr. Paul Robertson, Dr. Ahmet Acar of Dokuz Eylul University Izmir, Turkey, and Dr. Brikena Xhaferi of South Eastern European University, Macedonia, are the founding members. Mr. Rifat Sait (Balkans TV) is the Founding Sponsor and Balkans Media Consultant.
The Balkan EFL Journal is a newly established journal which aims at giving English Language teachers and young researchers in the Balkans a unique opportunity for publishing articles in the sister journal of a world-leading journal, Asian EFL Journal. The journal aims for the highest standards in its published material and all articles from the Balkan region will be reviewed for publication.
In this way, the journal will make a vital contribution in promoting second language acquisition research in the Balkan region and it will follow new trends in teaching English as a Foreign language. The English language teachers will have a forum where they can exchange teaching ideas of how to put theory to practice.
We invite articles that are related to second language acquisition research and also articles that address how the English language is taught in Balkan countries. You are also invited to access the site regularly and get the most up-to-date information about teaching.
